Esme is a very famous weaving village in Usak,in the west of Turkey.that is known for its fine weaving and lively designs Esme .Wool is usually hand spun from local sheep and colours are in general vibrant with reds, yellows and some black All sizes from small to large are common, though they are always woven on upright vertical looms..The symbols used on all kilims have special meanings and can reflect the weavers desire for protection, abundance, happiness, fertility, etc
